Save CalFresh Fruit and Vegetable benefits - $60/month is at risk

Share:

CalFresh participants are at risk of losing benefits. Because the CalFresh Fruit and Vegetable EBT program is so successful, it has run out of funding far sooner than anticipated. Since April 14, Californians with low-income have lost up to $60/month for fresh fruits and vegetables – which makes it even harder to buy the food they need at a time of historically high food prices.

Ask your legislator to put at least $30 million in this year’s state budget to help people afford more healthy food for at least 12 more months.
