The USDA is accepting comments on the SUN Bucks Interim Final Rule by August 27, 2024, no later than 11:59PM EST (8:59PM PST).

Submitting a public comment is an opportunity to make your voice heard. Federal agencies are required to read through each comment and make necessary changes before publishing a final rule.

To make your comment count, please add at least 3-5 sentences of your own. Below are some topics you can add to your comment.

• APPLICATION: Support the development of a statewide SUN Bucks application for 2025 or as soon as possible

• EXPUNGEMENT: Allow SUN Bucks expiration timeline to reset after each use

• BENEFIT REPLACEMENT: Support replacing stolen benefits on SUN Bucks cards

• HEARINGS: Ensure there is a clear and timely appeals process for families who have problems with their SUN Bucks eligibility

• CLAIMS: Protect families from administrative errors
