This summer, the California state budget was signed into law, delivering an additional $11 million in ongoing funding to help child care providers serve meals to low-income children. It was a long road to get here, but together we did it!

The legislature also deserves significant thanks. They fought hard for child care, including the funding for child care meals. Please take a few minutes to thank the budget leaders who helped secure this historic win.
