This significant increase maintains the increased fruit and vegetable benefit and ensures that the one million Californians on WIC can continue to use its services without being turned away. The bill also kept out unrelated SNAP policy riders that would further harm families.

We commend members of the California Congressional Delegation who voted to support the bill. As Congress discusses funding for 2025, we also ask for adequate support for WIC in order to safeguard the health and well-being of young children and their families.
